What are the different memberships?
The Kroger Rx Savings Club offers two types of memberships for individuals and families.
Which Kroger Rx Savings Club membership is right for me?
The Individual Membership is best for:
- One person who is 18 years of age or older
- An individual not planning on adding any additional members
Will I receive the same benefits as the Family Membership?
Yes, you'll receive the same Kroger Rx Savings Club prices and benefits as the Family Membership, but at a lower rate of $36 a year. The only difference is that this membership will cover just one person.
Who can sign up for an Individual Membership?
You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in the Individual Membership. Individuals under the age of 18 and pets can be added as members to an existing Family Membership.
The Family Membership is best for:
- Individuals looking to use the Kroger Rx Savings Club for more than one person
- Families that take multiple prescriptions
- Individuals under the age of 18 and pets (both of whom must be added as members to an existing membership with a primary member over the age of 18)
How many members are included in a Family Membership?
The Family Membership covers you and up to 5 additional family members — your kids, grandma and grandpa, friends, neighbors, and even pets!
Is there a difference in cost?
Yes, the Individual Membership is $36 a year for one person and the Family Membership is $72 a year for up to 6 members.
What if I no longer want the Family Membership?
You can cancel or downgrade to the Individual Membership at any time.
If you downgrade to an Individual Membership, a pro-rated amount of your current rate of $72 will be refunded to you, and you will be charged a pro-rated amount of the yearly plan at the new rate of $36.
How long is my membership good for?
The Kroger Rx Savings Club is an annual membership. The subscription will last one year from the day you sign up.
On each anniversary of your signup date, your subscription will auto-renew for another year and your credit card will be charged your membership fee upon renewal. We will send you a notice 15 days before your renewal date to verify you want to continue your membership. If you cancel your membership before your renewal date, your subscription will not renew.
You can cancel within the first 30 days of your membership starting on your renewal date and receive a full refund.
How do I use this at the pharmacy?

I didn't get the price I expected. What do I do?
The Kroger Rx Savings Club prices are generally very accurate, and issues are rare.
If you believe you were charged the wrong price at the pharmacy, there are a few things you will want to check:
Does the drug you looked up on the Kroger Rx Savings Club site match the prescription you're filling?
You may be viewing a price that isn’t exactly the same as the prescription you’re filling (this is the most common reason for price differences). First, confirm that the price you looked up matches your prescription. Be sure to check the drug name (i.e., “divalproex” vs. “divalproex ER extended release”), dosage (20mg vs. 40mg), form (capsule vs. tablet) and quantity (30 tablets vs. 90 tablets).
Still not receiving the correct price?

How long will it take to receive my card?
Your welcome packet containing two Kroger Rx Savings Club cards should arrive two weeks after signup. While you wait for your cards to arrive, you can use your temporary card. We'll show you how to access your temporary card here.
Will each member receive his or her own card?
Yes, each member will receive his or her own card. You can request additional cards through your online account at any time, and each card will also arrive within two weeks of the request date.
What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?
Not to worry! No one but you can use your membership card, which only has your name on it and no other identifying information. There's no need to cancel your membership if you lose your card; simply request a new card to be sent to you.
How do I request new or additional cards?
- Log in to your online account and place a request. We'll show you how to request a card from your online account here.
- Call us at 1-855-912-6346 to speak with a live agent Monday through Friday 8AM–9PM ET Saturday 10AM–6PM ET, and Sunday 10AM–5PM ET.
Will I need to bring my card with me every time I fill a prescription?
Your pharmacist should be able to add your card to your online profile at Kroger so you can use it whenever you fill or refill a prescription in the future. Just in case, it's always a good idea to bring it with you.
What is the Person Code on my card?
The person code on your card individually identifies each member on a Savings Club account. In order for the pharmacist to apply the membership price, he or she must enter the person code on your card. Don't see your person code? We'll show you where to find it here.
